Delete your Himova account
You can permanently delete your account and the data in it at any time.
In the app (quickest)
- Open Himova and go to Profile.
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
- Enter your password (or confirm with Google if you signed up with Google) and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately.
If you can't open the app
Email imankit.paudel@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm it's you, and we will delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email, date of birth, sex, height, weight and weight history, goals and dietary preferences (including allergens).
- Your workouts, routines, food and meal logs, custom foods and exercises, reminders, coach decisions and weekly reports.
- Your profile photo and any photos you uploaded to the community.
- Your gym membership, posts, comments, reactions and poll votes. Comments other people wrote on your posts go with those posts. A comment of yours that someone replied to is emptied and shown as "[deleted]" so their reply stays readable; nothing personal is kept.
- Your sign-in sessions.
What to know first
- Deletion cannot be undone. To keep a copy of your data first, use Profile → Account → Download my data in the app.
- Backups made by our database provider roll off on their normal cycle, after which nothing remains.
- We may keep the minimum records the law requires us to keep.
- Gym accounts are business accounts. To close one, email us.
